Star City Hot Wheels Show Information
Construction of the track has begun, and we have begun hammering out the details of the rules for the custom car contest, downhill racing, and the NEW drag racing events. Within the next week there will be a massive website update with all of the available information pertaining to the show.

Collector Corner
Fred “Derf” Shanks is a big kid at heart. His collection numbers well over 10,000 cars, and he has an obsession for Shoe Boxes. He been customizing for over five years, and is the club’s most experienced customizer thus far, but don’t think he’s only in the club to customize. He enjoys racing, too, and like all of us, enjoys the thrill of the hunt and the camaraderie of collecting. Look for him at K-Days passing out flyers and talking up the club – he’s one of the best PR machines we’ve got!
SCHW Meeting
At the last meeting we talked with Paul “Scooter” Dyson, and we came to the conclusion that any issues between ECHW and SCHW could not be solved before the July show. Thus, the July show will be a SCHW event only.
The next meeting will be an open session on Friday, June 16, 2006. We will be finalizing the plans for the show with members outside of the core group who have expressed an interest in helping to plan for the show.
We will be planning the itinerary, including signing up for staffing, discussing possible sources of donations, food, drink, etc. We have a lot to discuss for the upcoming show!
Any one who has donations for the show raffle, please bring these to this meeting, because we are starting to gather and organize these items.
